Okay.  So.  If somebody ever asks you to take a cruise to Alaska, the answer is yes.  No matter when it is—the answer is Yes.

No.  Stop.  I don’t care if Barack Obama is rocking out with Bruce Springsteen, giving out gold-plated Wiis, and all of this is a fundraiser for a Back to the Future musical.  Alaska is better.

I’m too manically-happy to have a long, detailed synopsis, so you’ll have to settle for a list of awesome things I did.  No, I don’t care if this is arrogant at all.  In chronological order, as best as I can remember it:

Saturday:  Boarded a Cruise Ship the size of Idaho.

Sunday:  Mulled around all day.  With style.

Monday:  Walked around Ketchikan, the most gorgeous town I’ve ever seen.

Tuesday:  Saw a Glacier, hiked around a bit, did some semi-rock climbing to manage to stand underneath a waterfall, and get a billion times closer to the glacier.

Wednesday:  Biked down a mountain at about twenty miles an hour.

Thursday:  Walked around in a Rainforest.

Friday:  Took lots of naps.

Saturday:  Went home.

And then, after coming home, I learned that there’s going to be a DS Remake of Chrono Trigger.

Hell Yes.

Your trip to Alaska sounds like a delight. I would love to go there at some point in my life; all the pictures I've seen of it are quite lovely. Temperate rainforests are one of my favorite biomes. Also, I don't know why I haven't added you to my flist yet and I am going to do so now.
